Home Edit: 10 Best Prints for your House
One of the best ways to update a home is to add something to the walls – and framed prints are a great way of doing that.
I’ve got a bunch at home already, and I love the way they create drama, and how they make everything else seem so much more polished and put together.

We’ve trawled through the internet and come across some of the best prints around, from expensive limited editions to super affordable posters and everything in between.
We particularly love One Must Dash for their charming, nostalgic prints, and The Poster Club for their cool, contemporary images…

1. Kate Moss ‘Life is a Joke’ Print, The Poster Club £60
I’m a big fan of The Poster Club – an online gallery and shop selling original design prints. With roots in Copenhagen, The Poster Club is a great place to find contemporary prints from various artists and photographers. The Scandinavian-led design aesthetic is right on trend, and we’re loving the tongue-in-cheek Life is Joke print. Kate Moss at her very best!

3. Pleased as Punch Print, One Must Dash £110
We love the vintage look of the posters from One Must Dash, which have something of a nostalgic quality about them. Full of charm and personality, the Pleased as Punch has a new home in my kitchen!
As with all prints from One Must Dash, the Pleased as Punch is printed on 200gsm FSC-certified archive paper. The posters are great quality and we love the thick, heavy weight paper.
If you choose to add wooden frames then the prints arrive already in their frames, and in perfect condition. You could also opt to buy the print only, which is delivered in a poster tube.

4. Dancer One print, Desenio £37
Desenio have a great range of framed prints to choose from, including this beautifully dramatic Dancer One print. As well as offering prints up to a sizeable 70x100mm, Desenio also deliver a range of wooden and metallic frames.

5. Pink Stairs Print, The Poster Club £82
How beautiful is this pale pink staircase? Taken on the streets of Stockholm by photographer Annaleena Leino Karlsson, I love the contrast between the delicate colour and urban landscape. The abstract quality of these stairs makes for a really interesting composition, and I love that just around the corner tease too.
We’ve put this print from The Poster Club against cool grey walls, and on warmer taupe ones, and it works just as well on both.

Graphic and monochrome, with a splash of typography too – what’s not to love about this print from One Must Dash?!

7. Wanabee Print, One Must Dash £110
Designed is a collaboration with the London illustrator Paul Desmond, Wanabee features a dog with wonderfully floppy rabbit ears :) Its another winning print in a style that we’ve come to know from One Must Dash. We love the crisp graphics and deliciously thick 200gsm FSC-certified archive paper.

The dream-like quality of this Beach print from One Must Dash is really gorgeous. Beach is more than just a literal image; its a different eye on a familiar landscape. It’s the mystery that keeps things interesting, after all.

It’s no secret that we have a love for Desenio, a Swedish-based company who have only recently started delivering their prints to the UK. Black is everything we’ve come to expect from them; chic, stylish, and gorgeous as part of a gallery wall…

The Pleased as Punch print really got me – it captures that wonderful childish feeling of pure happiness that a lot of us adults rarely feel without complication, and even more rarely display on our walls. It’s worth investing in artwork to get a home filled with emotions and feelings which can’t always come from an arty picture of a coke can – yes it’s modern, but does it really evoke much feeling?
Couldn’t agree more – I love the Pleased as Punch too, its so nostalgic :)
