Afternoon Tea

Lanes of London

Lanes of London, previously criticised for its ‘concept’ heavy menu, ticks all the right boxes for afternoon tea with fresh, hot scones, cakes and sandwiches.

Brown’s Hotel

The soaring atriums are furnished in a clean biscuit-brown wood and with cosseting fireplaces and armchairs, and a pianist adds to the easy atmosphere.

The Pudding Bar

Our tea stand groans under the weight of the ‘Strawberry Bombs’ of French meringue with whipped strawberry mousse to squares of brownie with dark chocolate ganache.

Kettners

Try the afternoon tea with free-flowing Prosecco and unlimited sandwiches, cakes and scones for £37.50. This can be had from 1-4pm on Mondays through to Fridays.

Hotel Café Royal

The Oscar Wilde Bar (previously known as The Grill Room) where afternoon tea is held has been restored to its original Louis XVI detailing, and named after one of its celebrity patrons.
