If you’re a restaurant contacting me about halal availability, please be as specific as possible.

Tell me whether the entire menu is halal or only particular meats or dishes, whether non-halal meat is handled on site, whether alcohol is served and, where possible, include information about certification or suppliers.

That helps me give readers useful information rather than a vague halal-friendly label.
