The Wellesley

Overlooking Hyde Park amidst the glamour of Knightsbridge, The Wellesley has the feel of a grand hotel in the space of a boutique venue, and does a glam afternoon tea.

Darbaar

Inspired by the banquets of the Indian Royal Court, the food is cooked in traditional clay ovens in the open kitchen before being sent out to be considered, evaluated and then devoured.

Zelman Meats

The steak selection at Zelman Meats is immaculately handled and the Chateubriand, a ripe cut from the tenderloin fillet, is absolutely exemplary.

Shikumen

Beautifully laid out and reasonably priced, Shikumen is the obvious place to enjoy some excellent dim sum and Peking duck in West London.

Palm Court at The Langham

Traditions of old and the modern musings of today combine in this striking space, which runs with the kind of smooth efficiency that speaks of centuries of experience.
