Hanger SW6: Fulham’s newest steak restaurant

We love Hanger SW6 for its simple, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, and for putting the unsung hero of the meat pack front and centre.

Peking Duck at Shikumen

Beautifully laid out and reasonably priced, Shikumen is the obvious place to enjoy some excellent dim sum and Peking duck in West London.

The Harwood Arms, Fulham

Whilst the interior is informal in nature, the food could come from some the best kitchens in London and £39.50 for three courses represents good value for money.

Lunch at Manuka Kitchen, Fulham

Desserts include a pot of Manuka honey and saffron brûlée, the top covered with a solid layer of fired sugar, a tap or two being enough to crack the hard caramel.

A Japanese Feast at Koji, Fulham

Trendy Fulham has a new-ish Japanese restaurant that looks properly the business and might rival Roka for style. It’s all dark wood and vintage glass, clever lighting and cream, feathered design touches. It’s both gorgeous and understated, and really very elegant.
