Bottomless Brunch at Cookbook Cafe
Bottomless Brunch at Cookbook Cafe
Bubbly buffet brunch at The Cookbook Cafe
A short stroll from the Rose Garden in Hyde Park, the Cookbook Cafe provides the perfect end to a sunny weekend with its blinding weekend brunch of buffet food. Located on the ground floor of the Intercontinental on London’s Park Lane, the atmosphere at the Cookbook Cafe is luxuriously unhurried and feels like a place that you can linger over a leisurely brunch.
The Sunday brunch itself is served buffet style and includes tuna, salmon and swordfish sashimi, cold meats and cheeses, grilled seafood and slow-cooked duck with cherry sauce. There’s also a roast station heaving with joints of beef, crisp potatoes and Yorkshire puddings, and an egg workshop that whips out a mean eggs florentine, as well as any other kind of egg.
For afters indulge in freshly made pancakes and waffles, on top of which you can add dried fruits, nuts, frothy cream or a tart berry coulis. Also be sure to save space for the dessert bar which features a cacophony of dinky miniatures, from pistachio cake and creme brûlée, to plum pie, chocolate mousse and cheesecakes.
The Sunday brunch at the Cookbook Cafe is a lavish and giddy affair which features an impressive array of high quality items to choose from. Brunch is served from 12.30 – 3.30pm and costs £58 pp, £40 for under 17’s and £25 for under 12’s.
