London’s Best Private Hot Tub Hotel with Stunning Skyline Views

London – gorgeous London. In the city that usually has everything, there are surprisingly few hotels that offer rooms with private hot tubs.
Some might call it criminal (I do). In my search for the best London jacuzzi, I happened to come across a little room with a lot to give in the private hot tub department.
Bermondsey Square Hotels’ Lucy in the Sky Suite
That hotel is of course the Bermondsey Square Hotel with its Lucy in the Sky suite, which has just recently knocked my socks off with its private, 6-seater hot tub.
The hot tub is completely private to the room, and is located on a gorgeous terrace, as part of a lush indoor-outdoor suite. Yas.
In fact, the Bermondsey Square Hotel seems to be the only hotel in London to offer a room that has its own private hot tub, on a rooftop, with a gorgeous view of the London skyline.
On a hot summers day, with a brilliant blue sky, it’s very hard to say no to.
Out of the 90 or so rooms at Bermondsey Square Hotel (including 5 luxurious loft suites), the Lucy in the Sky suite is my favourite. It’s the only one with a hot tub after all.
There are other loft suites too, each with their own little piece of sparkly terrace. One of them has a beautiful view of the Shard, another has a luxurious hammock. But Lucy is the girl for me.

Inside the Lucy in the Sky suite is a large fluffy bed, marshmallowy as you would like, covered in the sort of cotton that slips on your skin like silk. Lush.
The bedroom can be curtained off from the rest of the room, which has a sizable seating area and a ginormous TV. If you are like me and my peeps, then you’ll probably love alternating between being in the hot tub and watching movies.
Although, now that I think of it, how perfect would it be if there was an outdoor projector screen….
London’s best Private Hot Tub is also on a roof. Winning.
No, no, I take it back – the point of being so high up is the lush view. And what makes the private hot tub suite at Bermondsey Square Hotel the best?
Because it has it’s own rooftop terrace, located all the way up on the seventh floor of the Bermondsey Square Hotel, with some of the loveliest views over London.
In the distance is the London Eye, and just past our room you can see the tip of the Shard.

Spread out all around us is the rest of London, stacked low so that you can see all of it. Gah, it’s so pretty.
I wish that I had more hotel rooms to compare the Lucy in the Sky suite with, but London hotels have some catching up to do in the private hot tub department.
Especially when the view from the our private hot tub suite shows off just how much sweet develop-able London rooftop space there is… so much room, so few hot tubs. A travesty.
A Halal Breakfast at Bermondsey Square Hotel
Another thing that I love about Bermondsey Square Hotel is that I can go in and order eggs benedict and actually eat it, because they serve halal turkey bacon. Yaaas.

I also really like how the restaurant is laid out almost as it would be at home. In the morning breakfast takes centre stage, laid out on a family-style table laden with goodies. You can go up and choose from platters of cheese, charcuterie (halal), bread, cereal, porridge and fruit.
Nom.
So, all in all, it’s been a pretty incredible stay for us at Bermondsey Square Hotels’ Lucy in the Sky suite. I’ll be thinking of that private hot tub for a while to come, at least until I book another night in. Soon!
