Brunch at The Westin Doha
Every Middle Eastern expat knows that Arabia is known for a couple of great things. Year round sun is one of them, not having to pay any taxes is another, and then of course it is the ability to brunch well. Having lived in Qatar for a few years in the past, I know a couple of great places for brunch in Doha.
Usually held in luxury hotels, each brunch has its own vibe and feel. If you’re looking for a really fun brunch – maybe something that you’d take a bunch of friends to – then brunch at The Westin Doha is great.

Reasons why we love brunch in doha so much….
Brunch in Doha is usually served buffet-style, and the same is true of the brunch at The Westin Doha.
The large ground floor restaurant is divided up into separate sections: on one table there are traditional Middle Eastern dishes; beside this is a great salad section; then there’s the shellfish; followed by bread; and hot Sunday-dinner-esque food. Mmm roast beef.

That by-the-sea vibe is enhanced with a great sushi section too, where you can also get as many freshly-shucked oyster as you like.
Outside is the pool and another vibrant food section made up of stalls cooking cuisine from around the world. I love my freshly made pad thai, followed by pistachio and strawberry crepe, and wish I had room to try the spit roast and corn bread.
How gorgeous does it all look? Swoon.

All in all The Westin Doha does a fun brunch and has a lively, party-vibe. It’s like being in the south of Spain in summer, surrounded by groups of friends on holiday. The food is pretty lovely too.
