Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks for Asian Skin
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks for Asian Skin
My two favourite Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks for olive/asian skin are Amazing Grace and Walk of Shame.
For the longest time I was nervous to try Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks. They’re gorgeous, and look amazing on so many different people, but I wasn’t sure how they’d translate on my olive/asian skin.
I finally managed to swatch a couple of lipsticks and, to my surprise, I loved a good handful of them. My favourite two, and the ones that I love most, are Amazing Grace and Walk of Shame.
Amazing Grace Matte Revolution lipstick
I never thought a shade like this would sit so well on my skin.
When you first twist it out of the tube, it looks like a strong, vibrant pink. And, although some people wear this sort of bright pink shade really well, others, like myself, struggle with it.
I ignored my initial thought on it though and, after the tester had been cleansed, applied it. Reader – I loved it.
On my olive-hued skin, Amazing Grace translates as a beautiful, dusty tea-rose. It brightens my face and adds a splash of fresh, everyday colour. I use it on top of Charlotte Tilbury’s pillow talk lip liner, which anchors the matte revolution lipstick really well.
Although this is a matte lipstick, it glides on smoothly, and wears like a much more moisturising formula. This also means that it won’t necessarily stay on quite as long as a heavier matte formula might, but it’s also refreshingly easy to wear. It doesn’t pull, or dry, or make me want to reach for a lip balm. I love it!

Walk of Shame Matte Revolution lipstick
My next favourite Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick is the shade Walk of Shame.
When I first twirled this lipstick out of its case, it looked like quite a strong berry shade. And I have about a dozen of those already, which I rarely use because they’re so deep in colour, and I don’t often want to play with a bold lip.
Like Amazing Grace, Walk of Shame translates to a much more wearable shade on the skin than you might think. It’s a rosy-berry shade, that’s friendly enough to wear both day and night. It’s also the perfect no-muss, no-fuss shade for winter.
There you have it, Amazing Grace and Walk of Shame are my two favourite Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks for olive or asian skin tones. Pop me a note if you’ve tried these, or any other Charlotte Tilbury shades :)
